I have never vacationed for 2 weeks but I am thinking 1. a 2 week cruise in the Mediterranean (sp?)with stops in Europe would be fabulous...2. and maybe Hawaii...that also sounds fabulous.
this is beccai would say backpacking Europe, Hawaii & Australia
I would like go on a guided African Safari.orA Mediterranean Cruise
My thought was that two weeks is quite a while so it would have to be a planned traveling vacation. I think the best would be Israel Greece and Italy.
I think a cruise anywhere would be fun. I say anywhere because I like the days at sea best so as long as I get to be on the ship for several days, I don't really care where I go. Or Disneyland. It is very clean there and that is a top priority for my vacation spots.
I too would love Disney land...how about a Disney cruise? You go to their private Disney Island and a cruise and then back to Disney World...let's all do that!!! Whom ever gets the first $40,000 (above and beyond the normal paychecks)pays for us all!!! We would have so much fun...
Backpacking Europe.I'd also like to go to Australia.
australia & mexico, all the way!
I would go on a cruise that went nowhere. If the ship left and went out for a couple days and came back to the same port I would love it.
This whole concept has me tied up in knots! However, Carol and I have taken several trips since becoming empty nesters and love to be together. So, I would love to take two weeks on the road, stopping wherever we wanted. Maybe LDS history sites, from Sharon Vermont through Palmyra, through Kirtland, Nauvoo, Far west. Is that long enough?
The church history tour sounds fabulous...I would love that...anywhere for 2 weeks would be great.
I could tell you how to spend a 2 week vacation in Puerto Rico easily. No passport or visa needed, you use American money, you have conveniences such as Walmart for shopping. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are found on that island. It is a dream place to vacation yet nobody goes there. Devin and I went about 3 summers ago for 10 days and it wasn't enough time. We stayed at a 4 star resort, had a rental car and total we probably spent $4,000. That includes the flights. I have suggested Puerto Rico to others and those that have gone have already gone back again since. Let me know and I can show and tell you everything you need to know.
Carl, that sounds fabulous and we when hit "The Mother Lode" in cash off we will go and we will take you with us...how fun is that? I have heard that they have beautiful beaches and I remember some pictures from your mission...let's do it.
I am very intrigued by this whole Puerto Rico thing!
