I forgot to show Dad these pics from when he was helping us move. We had a little bit of time to site see and we saw the Alamo and the River walk.


P.S. We literally could not have done that move with out Dad! It was one of the kindest things anyone has done for us. To quote Ashton...

"Denny is amazing, the more sucky things get (like moving in 95 degree weather) the more happy he gets."

OUR NEW DECK!!!

The deck has been a mess for awhile...as you know. SOOOOO.....Denny began replacing bad boards, built steps (yes, he did) and built a new corner....THEN...Rachel came in Wednesday night and worked like a dog all day Thursday, Friday and then she and Den finished Saturday. And here are the pictures of the wonderful new deck....my curtains are open to the deck (I am no longer hiding the deck) and it is beautiful. My portion of the work...I had Rachel buy red spray paint and then told Denny to paint the old UGLY plastic chairs and they are adorable...shabby chic. Why don't we have pictures of Rachel and Denny working on the deck,you ask....I DO NOT KNOW WHERE MY HEAD WAS!!! But here are pictures of our deck now...Rachel has gone home (audible sigh) and We thank her publicly, lovingly and gratefully.
