Ford

So The Fugitive was on t.v., and it got me to thinking of my favorite Harrison Ford movies. There are some pretty decent options. I've come up with my top 5.

1. Empire Strikes Back (My favorite Star Wars)
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark (lately I've picked Raiders over Last Crusade, but it could easily go either way)
3. The Fugitive
4. Witness (it's on t.v. edited quite a bit, and I recommend it)
5. Working Girl (also on t.v. edited, and I think it's funny 80s movie, and different than your typical Harrison Ford one)

Thoughts?

I have liked all of his movies that i have watched so far (except for Random Hearts). I just love him but if i were to choose 5 then, -

1. Six days seven nights (Was not a hit but i fell in love with him after watching this.. It is so my kind of movie & he looks hot & damn sexy in it!)
2. The Fugitive
3. Frantic
4. Indiana Jones & the last crusade
5. Air Force One

Yet to watch a lot of his other movies!!

Is it wrong that I have only watched one Harrison Ford Movie all the way through? That will be my #1, then I will list the ones I have seen part of:

1. What Lies Beneath (Scary! And I lived alone at this point.)
2. Air Force One (I may have seen all of this, but do not recall. . . he's on airplane, right?)
3. Witness (Either the end or the beginning. It was recorded either right before or right after some cartoons.)
4. Star Wars (I don't know which one. I often just saw it in passing at home. I was never interested enough to stay . . . sorry if that offends anyone.)
5. Indiana Jones (I saw part of it in one of my nursing classes. I don't remember what they were trying to teach us.)

Maybe if Harrison was in more romantic comedies I would watch more of his movies.

It is interesting I never realized that most of his career is as three characters.

FYI Amish is translated as Mormon in a few languages. Might be why people confuse us with them in Europe.

The name of the movie in my #2 is American Griffiti. #4 was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It is quite amazing that the only two people in the world have have not seen Star Wars (Andy and Stefany) found each other. It truly was meant to be.

The Fugitive drove me crazy because it was nonsense that the cop would be so caught up in the chase, knowing that Ford's character was a good guy. Hey, buddy, round up some drug dealers instead. However the star power of Ford was in full force during Witness. I remember a shot of the back of his head when he was on the phone. In spite of not seeing any facial expression, he accurately conveyed his emotions. Hmm, says me, that boy is acting.
The Raiders series was fun, but entirely too corny to make a "best of" list. You'd be fooling yourself to say his smart aleck lines in Star Wars were any different. I'd have to go with Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger for my #2 and #3. Air Force One is #4 (get....off....my....plane!) Can't come up with #5. Maybe he'll do another Ryan movie.
