oh my gosh i love love love dad as santa!!! i bet he was the best one they have ever had!! I wish i could have seen it! thanks for the pics!! sarah
He was so wonderful. I made those bushy eyebrows white and "rosied" up his cheeks. He wore 2 pillows under his suit. We anchored them to his body with...yes...Duct Tape!!! He was a "Jolly Old Soul". As each piece was added to costume he became the "the Man." When they opened the curtains to the stage (we were at the Stake Center) and the children saw him a cheer went up and then ran to get in line to see him. He took lots of time with each child and then gave them a candy cane. In some cases he had to be quick to get a picture with a little one who was screaming rather loudly and wanted nothing to do with him. Lucy Hawkins who is about 6 months old, loved him...she just laughed and laughed. Emily Hawkins was taking all the pictures and I told her I wanted to get a picture on his lap she gave me a weird look and asked why, then said..."is Denny Santa?" He was so good...and kind. So now you all know...Santa is MY BOYFRIEND!!!
